• Designing and developing test automation scripts using test automation guidelines in languages such as javascript using tools like cypress etc.
• Assess, write and maintain well-defined test plans on feature specifications.
• Research issues in software through testing across multiple platforms such as web, tablet and mobile.
• Write comprehensive bug reports and verify bug fixes in different environments.
• Coordinate the shipment of regular software releases across multiple teams and promote the releases across environments.
• Communicate effectively the quantitative and qualitative findings from the test results to the development team.
• Ensure that the final product and release of features satisfy the product requirements and they meet the established quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions using agile process, GIT and JIRA type task management tools.
• Mentor colleagues and/or junior team members with existing projects, code and processes.

• At least 1 (one) years of industry experience in software testing and ensuring quality standards of software applications across multiple platforms such as web, tablet and mobile.
• Very proficient in communicating in English.
• Experience in creating automated tests using frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium in Javascript, Ruby etc.
• Proven ability to report and document findings and identify corner use cases.
• Sound understanding of different types of testing techniques such as smoke testing, end to end testing, integration testing, performance testing etc.
• Proven experience in writing well-defined test suites for newly-developed features in Python, Ruby etc.
• Experience in working with project management software like JIRA, Trello etc.
• Self-accountable, ownership of tasks mindset and has high attention to detail.
• Understand the product vision, business objectives, and overall strategy.
• BS/MS from Computer Science or similar Engineering degree (e.g. Electrical, Software).
